Ericka is a political strategist who has been working on progressive campaigns since 2014. She began as a field organizer on Bernie 2016 before becoming staff on the National Digital team at the Working Families Party. Her field-digital hybrid background shapes her approach today: a campaign’s paid digital media program can and should be informed by on the ground organizing. She has built and executed digital strategies in districts across the country to make that possible — including during the pandemic, when campaigns were forced to move almost entirely online.

Her work spans digital media strategy for progressive organizations and candidate campaigns including Working Families Party, Third Act/Grey PAC, Bend the Arc, and KC Tenants Association. In the most recent New York City election cycle, she helped power City Council victories for Tiffany Cabán, Alexa Avilés, and Shahana Hanif.
